Nick Piraino

Nick Piraino is in his first season as the Director of Operations and Player Development for the Trojan baseball team.

Piraino comes to Little Rock after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant at UA-Monticello, his alma mater. During his two years on staff, he helped guide the Boll Weevils to a pair of Great American Conference regular season titles, working primarily with infielders and catchers.

Piraino also served as an assistant coach of the Texarkana Twins of the Texas Collegiate League during the 2018 season.

A native of Fullerton, California, Piraino was a two year letter winner for the Boll Weevils in 2016 and 2017. He was part of one of the nation's top offensive programs in 2017 with Monticello setting the school record with 79 home runs while ranking among the nation's top-10 in homers, slugging percentage and runs scored.

Piraino earned his bachelor of arts degree from UA Monticello in 2017, then proceeded to earn his master's degree in physical eduation and coaching in December of 2018.
